The Fort Peck Reservoir is 156 miles long and has 1,500 miles of shore line (more shore line than the coast of California and is completely surrounded by the wild life refuge. Plus, the Missouri River runs right past the Fort Peck Hotel. This body of water is excellent for all types of water sports. Skiing, fishing, wake boarding, tubing and swimming. The river below also offers the same amenities’. This lake is located in the Missouri River Breaks.

This country is a panatalogists dream! Dinosaur bones and fossils are found everywhere. The hunting is the best the state has to offer. If you are a bird watcher or just like to hike the government has provided miles of trails and excellent facilities around the lake.

The hotel is surrounded by the popular Charles M. Russell Wildlife Preserve. Rare birds can be viewed just down the road, and deer can be seen on the hotel grounds and around the local area. Fishing can be done off the face of the dam just down the road from the hotel. Local guides can be arranged.
